FLARE BURNERS & CONTROLS

SAFETY FLARE BURNER UNIT
The Safety Flare Burner Unit is our base, low capacity flare burner for smaller or semi portable situations. The gas to be flared must be clean and within a range of gas heat contents. These are generally not used for flaring waste biogas.

The burner units are fabricated to suit your application and can be as simple as a torch assembly with wind resistance, to a fully automated burner unit with ignition, flame failure shut down and approved gas train. The flare unit can be portable with a heavy base for stability. We would recommend affixing the unit to the ground while in a semi permanent position. The electrical cabinet, if selected, is free standing and would require wiring on site by your electrician.

"V" WASTE GAS TYPE FLARE
The "V" type utilises a special venturi design that promotes excellent stability. The flame produced (depending on the gas) is blue with high heat developed in the ceramic lined shroud.

INTRODUCTION
The waste gas burner is designed to reliably flare excess waste gas produced in a number of industries including municipal landfills, anaerobic digesters, effluent and waste product lagoons. Each burner unit is accurately matched to the site requirements including capacity, BTU content, operational sequence etc.. Clean L.P.Gas or natural gas is required for the pilot burner.

OPERATION
The basic waste gas burner unit consists of the stable pilot flame, ignition and flame sensing devices, burner management system, variable main burner component, mounting flange and appropriate control valving. It is possible to obtain a fixed low rate for reliable low demand operation.

As customer needs and site conditions vary there is no standard unit. Please contact for more details on our Waste gas burners and our extensive range of Industrial burners and controls. Please include full specifications on site requirements.
